Yang Kai Zhi
Founder and COO
Elite eSports player with 12 years gaming experience, has been active in the e-sports since 2005. He has participated in the set up of China’s first professional electronic sports arena “Optical Valley Electronic Sports Plaza” (Wuhan, China). He has worked on the project design to construction as well as the operation and maintenance of the whole project, achieving the first eSport gaming club license in parallel. In 2009, he set up the E3 professional e-sports club and led its players to the first “StarCraft” (StarCraft) China title, elevating the club into the league of the top 4. He join Apple in 2012, and worked for three years as Business Lead, has successfully led the team to guide five hundred global customers around the world to streamline processes and improve efficiency with Apple products. He joined Taidu Technology in 2015 as the marketing director to help Taidu develop as a new e-sports peripherals brand in the market.
Founder and CMO
Julien is a Public Relations and Marketing professional with over 10 years of experience in the finance and video game industries. He is also a successful entrepreneur having launched and managed two companies in the tourism and F&B sectors. A holder of Swiss Federal Diploma in Public Relations, and graduated from the Digital Marketing Institute, Julien is an expert in Corporate Communications and is digital marketing savvy. A strong believer in the need for innovation and disruption to move forward, he acknowledges the possibilities offered by the blockchain technology and is an early adopter of cryptocurrencies. Julien was previously the Head of Communications in Asia for Indosuez Wealth Management, which is part of the Crédit Agricole Group (Credit Agricole is one of the top financial institution worldwide with assets totaling more than Eur €1 trillion).
Marcelo García Casil
Chief Technical Advisor
Founder and CEO of DXMarkets, a start-up company building blockchain-based products for the financial services industry in areas covering capital markets, investment, payments and digital identity. Having previously worked at a number of large global banks, Marcelo has wide-ranging experience in designing and building large-scale enterprise-grade systems with a focus on investment banking and financial solutions.
Murphy is currently director, technology and operations at DART institute who develops innovative data solutions for fortune 500 customers through advanced analytics, machine learning and corporate data strategies. Murphy was previously the Chief Data Scientist of BigTapp Singapore, heading up the data science and technology development team in both Singapore and India. Murphy has published in multiple academic journals on various topics ranging from presidential elections to blockchains. His interest in blockchain primarily lies in the domain of integrating the technology in corporations and to extend the flexibility of ethereum into a full monetary system. In additional to his works, he has also acted as technology advisor on the board of advisors on multiple startups in Fintech and Analytics. Murphy holds a Doctorate in Analytics from Middlesex University London.
Manuel is currently CMO at HelloGold, a start-up that uses apps, blockchain and finance to democratize gold. He was previously the Head of Customer Marketing (Analytics) at the Royal Bank Scotland Group (RBSG) and Strategy Director at Wolff Olins PLC. At RBSG he re-engineered NatWest’s $1bn current account product portfolio and led the respective $30m product development program. Since then he led tech development at Red Zebra Analytics (London and Kuala Lumpur), SSON Analytics (Singapore) and advised A*Star, the S$7bn R&D arm of the Singaporean Government. Manuel holds a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Geng Wen Tao
He has more than 10 years of experience in large-scale gaming events, e-sports professional club management experience and government-enterprise resources management. He has participated in and is responsible for a number of large-scale e-sports events at home and abroad, such as the China Youth E-sports Competition, WCA World E-Sports Competition China Division, ESWC Global Finals China Division, TI6 and TI5 DOTA2 World Finals line, Carnival amongst others. He worked in the Wuhan department of science and technology, and was responsible for the construction and operations of the largest e-sports centre (Meng Jing Electronic Sports Center), building the event management system, daily operation and maintenance of the venue etc, host artist broker, club System structures and other important work.
Federico is a blockchain expert and active open source contributor. He is highly experienced in low-level system design and architecture, and has vast experience designing and building cryptographic and transactional systems. He frequently presents at industry events and is highly regarded by his peers.
Hernan has more than 15 years of experience designing and building scalable systems. His forte is in the Java stack and over the last few years he has specialised in module frameworks and microservices. Hernan has a keen eye for security.
Ignacio is a versatile and prolific developer. His international experience has given him the chance to work alongside and learn from gurus of the industry. In recent years Ignacio has made strides working with cutting-edge UI frameworks by developing sophisticated user interfaces.
